Android users who do not have rooted devices have a few choices. There are fonts, keyboards, and emoji apps that can provide users with iOS-style emojis, but only at the app level. Still, they can be used to send and receive emojis in the same way that their Apple colleagues can.

However, if you want these to be available at the system level, your Android device must be rooted. With a rooted phone, you can use a root module and an iOS emoji pack to replace the emojis issued by your manufacturer with iOS emojis.
