Oppo is gearing up to expand its Find X8 series, introducing new models, including the sleeker and more compact Find X8s as well as an “Ultra” variant.
The Find X8 and Find X8 Pro launched last year, impressing with their powerful cameras and top-tier hardware. However, they were just the beginning of the series. Three more devices are on the way, including the Oppo Find X8 Ultra, a camera-focused model that retains a familiar design but, as shown in a teaser video, features an impressive five-lens camera setup on the back.
The Find X8s and Find X8s+ are arguably even more intriguing. These models appear to be Oppo’s response to the growing demand for ultra-slim smartphones. The Find X8s, in particular, seems to be the long-rumoured “Mini” version. Leaked images (via GSMArena) show the phone’s compact form factor, though Oppo has yet to confirm its exact dimensions. Rumours suggest it will feature a 6.3-inch display. The Find X8s+, on the other hand, is also a slimmer device but with a larger screen.
One of the most notable design changes across these models is the removal of the Alert Slider, replaced by a single button along the device’s side. This follows OnePlus’ recent decision to phase out the much-loved feature, making these Oppo models among the first to showcase the shift.
Oppo has also designed a fresh collection of new wallpapers for its latest devices. The collection includes five stock wallpapers and nine charming 3D backgrounds, all available to download in high quality.
