Just a few days ago, OnePlus introduced a new T-variant smartphone. However, this time, it isn’t a premium flagship. Instead, the company has unveiled the T-variant of its midrange OnePlus 9R—the OnePlus 9RT. The device features an upgraded processor, an enhanced camera system, and a refreshed design. It’s powered by the Snapdragon 888 SoC and adopts the design language of the standard OnePlus 9. OnePlus 9RT: A Quick Overview

The front of the device features a 6.62-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a centrally placed punch hole for the selfie camera. The OnePlus 9RT is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset and runs on ColorOS 11, based on Android 11, for the Chinese market.

As the successor to the OnePlus 9R, the 9RT boasts upgraded cameras. It retains a triple-lens setup but introduces a 50MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 1.0-micron pixel size, using the same Sony IMX766 sensor found in the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. Additionally, it includes a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the device is equipped with a 16MP front camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

The OnePlus 9RT is available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM, paired with storage options of 128GB or 256GB. It comes with a 4,500mAh battery supporting 65W fast charging and is available in Black, Silver, and Dark Black colour options.
