Xiaomi has officially introduced HyperOS 2 alongside the Xiaomi 15 series in China, marking a major advancement in its software ecosystem. The company describes HyperOS 2 as “a solid step towards a complete AI ecosystem.” The update will soon be available to eligible devices, but you can download its wallpapers now to get an early preview.
Xiaomi has shared full details about the HyperOS 2.0 update, including its features, roadmap, and more. Currently, the roadmap covers models in China, but it also provides a list of eligible devices for global users.
As you may have noticed in recent announcements, every brand is integrating AI features, and Xiaomi is following suit. HyperOS 2.0 includes a range of AI-powered features, such as dynamic AI wallpapers, AI search, Quick Fill, Super Xiao AI, AI painting, AI voice recognition, AI translation, and more. Xiaomi refers to these AI enhancements collectively as HyperAI.
In addition to the AI features, the update includes numerous other improvements. According to the official timeline, the HyperOS 2.0 update is expected to start rolling out in November, though the global release may experience a slight delay. The latest version of HyperOS includes 32 static wallpapers in various resolutions, with most set at 1080 x 2400. These are organised into six categories: AI Static, Canyon, Classic, East, Magazine, and SoftLight. Compressed versions of these wallpapers are displayed in the gallery below.
