One of the most eagerly awaited smartphones of 2022, the Pixel 7, is finally available to the public. Google unveiled the new Pixel smartphone, along with the Pixel Watch, Pixel Buds, and smart home devices, at its Made by Google event last week. The company introduced two new Pixel phones: the Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro.
To celebrate the launch of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, Google has released a new "Feathers" collection of wallpapers, which you can download here.
Each year, Google typically releases multiple wallpaper collections to accompany its latest phones, offering both still and live wallpaper options. For instance, from the Pixel 4a through the Pixel 6 series, Google introduced "For Fun" wallpapers that cleverly incorporated the placement of the hole-punch camera.
Google has decided not to release any new live wallpapers for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, instead focussing on a new set of static images. The collection, titled "Feathers," has a unique avian theme, with plumage of various birds complementing the colour palettes of each Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro hue.
To add further variety, Google includes both "light" and "dark" variants for each wallpaper. However, these versions are distinct enough that it wouldn’t make sense to have them automatically switch when toggling between light and dark modes.
But do not download them from the gallery below since the images are compressed and will not appear properly on your screen. Instead, use this Google Drive folder link to get the images in their full quality.
If you enjoy avian-themed wallpapers, these are perfect photos to adorn your phone. All of them look amazing, and we suggest trying them all to see which one best fits you.
